Junior Software Developer
Who We Are Looking For:
Sizztech is expanding its team to meet growing customer demand and to support its increasing customer base. The company is seeking a Junior Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Brisbane, QLD. The Junior Software Engineer will assess and resolve customer support requests, assist with enhancements to the Forecaz platform, and work primarily on front-end web development.
You should:
- Been exposed/worked on software development projects (preferably for 12 months or more).
- Have a passion for helping our customers get the best out of our software.
- Want exposure to:
- Geo-Spatial technologies
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Machine Learning (ML)
- Big Data
- Provide support and enhancements to Forecaz and other projects we have in the pipeline.

Giving IT Back Initiative
Our “Giving IT Back” initiative creates pathways for undergraduates and graduates, offering valuable experience in Information Technology and Urban Planning.
We are committed to nurturing the next generation of professionals in urban planning and software engineering through its tailored internship program. Designed to provide young people with invaluable hands-on experience, the program begins with a 100-hour unpaid internship over a 6 week period. This initial period allows participants to immerse themselves in real-world projects, developing essential skills and industry knowledge.
Following the unpaid phase, interns transition to a 100-hour paid internship over an additional 6 weeks, offering continued learning and professional development opportunities. We have successfully guided nearly 10 individuals through this program, equipping them with the practical experience needed to advance in their careers. The initiative reflects our dedication to fostering talent and supporting the growth of future industry leaders.

As a second-year Computer Science student at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Steve approached our CEO, Bradley Rasmussen, after his presentation to the Queensland AI Hub AI Summit’s volunteers, last year.
